need a band mate?
ps. I guess I'm not doing as much reflecting as my title suggests. I should probably change it to "babies make the best toys" or "hey! look how cute my baby is when I stage her with various props," because I have a feeling that's where this this project is going.

Time flies when you have a baby!
And who has time to keep up with a blog? I really (really) want to though, and I think about it every day. So here's to another attempt.
Frank (Franks, Franny Bananny, Franky Doodle) is now 5 1/2 months old. I can't even believe it. Our once 5 pounds peanut is now weighing in at nearly 15 pounds. She has jumped from the 10th percentile for weight and height to the 25th and shows no signs of slowing down. It's nuts. She can sit up by herself and she even tasted real food the other day. We gave her some avocado and she loved it, funny enough, Luther is showing some interested in her too now:
She also has a vast repertoire of sounds consisting of high pitched screams and the phrase "ba ba ba ba ba (ba ba ba ba ba - it goes on and on)". She's really amazing. She's constantly learning and figuring out her world. She's currently being entertained by a breast milk bag filled with ice water. It was 112 degrees here today and we have only a swamp cooler, no AC, so we make fun and stay cool at the same time.
Oh what else? There was mother's day. I had to work, but Frankie and Daddy bought us a BOB stroller. Now Frankie goes on walks with Luther and if I'm ever inspired to run again we gots the tools we need. I have not gone for a run since last April. That's lame.
Father's day was great too. Frankie got Dad a new pair of work shoes, he loves them. We got him some candy and beer too, also a hit.
What a great year so far!
